Senior Session Location Guide

Finding the ideal location is vital to a successful session.

There are a few ways to go about this.

Is it MEANINGFUL?

Do you have a location that holds a special place in your heart? It can be the place when you experienced a first, a place that brings you joy, or a place where you navigated a milestone moment. Meaningful locations help us tell your story through the images I capture of your special life moments and milestones.

Does the location fit your PERSONALITY?

Are you feeling an industrial, urban, or nature vibe? Pick a location that best fits your own personality. If you aren’t outdoorsy, maybe an indoor location would fit you better. Are you a coffee lover? Let’s hit up a cafe and shoot your session there. No matter what your personality is, there is a variety of locations that work to make your session memorable.

Does this location have VARIETY?

Having a variety of textures or background space allows for a beautiful variation in your images. Being a lifestyle photographer, I will ask that you engage with your environment. Having a variety of things to interact with helps you be more natural and relaxed in your images.

Do you want photos at your SCHOOL?

One thing that would bring it all together is using your school in your grad session. This is the place where you put your sweat and tears in to be at this milestone moment. Why not incorporate your school, whether it’s a specific location in the school or outside of the building.
