Boudoir Location Guide

Finding the ideal location is vital to a successful session.

There are a few ways to go about this.

Studio

Studios are a great place for boudoir sessions as they are already set up with backdrops, furniture, and lighting. Studios have space for you to get your hair and make-up done as well as a bathroom or changing room for your outfit changes. Studios are already set up for photo sessions. All you need to do is just show up.

Hotel

Hotels are an ideal location as they are a ready-made bedroom set. Most hotels have large windows for great lighting. They are also private for the nature of the photo session. These are best used when traveling for a boudoir session.

Air B & B

If you are looking to use many living spaces in your session but are unable to use your own home, an Air B & B is an ideal location. They are set up with a variety of spaces for amazing sets. These also work if traveling for a boudoir session.

In-Home

Due to the nature of a boudoir session, most would feel comfortable in their own space. If your home meets the ideal requirements, we do travel to your home for your boudoir session.

In-Home

In order to consider your home for a boudoir session, your home must meet the following requirements:

  • Large windows for natural light

This will be the room we will do most of the session in.

  • Clean Space

Please have all clothing and toys picked up and put away. Vacuum, sweep, and mop the rooms that will be used. Make sure to wipe down all dust off the furniture in the room(s) being used.

  • Minimal distraction in decor

Select the rooms with simple decor. Include neutral colors for sheets and throws.

  • Secure all pets

Please ensure your pets are secured for the duration of the session to ensure we have a distraction free environment.
